Labor & Birth Doula Support Services:

Two Prenatal Meetings
During our first prenatal meeting, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your birth preferences, explore any fears or concerns, and, if you want, create your personalized birth plan. During the second meeting, we will focus on labor positions, coping strategies, postpartum planning, and identifying your partner’s role.

Ongoing Pregnancy Support
You’ll receive ongoing emotional and informational support through phone, text, and email throughout your pregnancy, labor, and 6 weeks through your postpartum period. We’re here to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.

Continuous Labor and Birth Support
As your labor doula, we will offer continuous, in-person birth support throughout active labor and birth—whether at home, a birth center, or a hospital. Together, we’ll use comfort measures, movement, and birth positioning techniques to help ease contractions, support your body, and encourage your baby’s descent. We’ll remain with you during the golden hour after birth to assist with infant feeding, skin-to-skin bonding, and emotional support.

Postpartum Doula Visit
Following your baby’s arrival, we’ll provide one in-home postpartum doula visit to reflect on your birth experience, offer infant feeding support, review your postpartum plan, and share helpful resources to ease your transition into parenthood.

Research shows that continuous support from a labor and birth doula can reduce the need for medical interventions, shorten the duration of labor, and lead to better outcomes for both you and your baby. Professional doula support during labor also promotes a more positive and empowered birth experience.
